Leaders in Care Delivery

Southern New Hampshire Health is comprised of Southern New Hampshire Medical Center (SNHMC), a 188-bed acute care facility located in the heart of downtown Nashua, and Foundation Medical Partners (FMP), a multi-specialty provider group.


SNHMC has a medical staff of over 500 primary and specialty care providers from FMP, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nashua, and local independent practices. A Magnet® Hospital since 2006, the Medical Center is recognized for nursing excellence and has earned hospital accreditation from DNV-GL Healthcare. Through a long-time formal affiliation with Massachusetts General Hospital, SNHH offer joint programs in stroke, cancer, trauma, vascular surgery, and pediatrics.


SNHH is also a founding member of SolutionHealth, a recently integrated regional system formed from the partnership established with SNHH and Elliot Health System in 2018.


Leading our Future

A strategic and engaging operations leader, our President/CEO will have overall responsibility for the leadership of Southern New Hampshire Health (SNHH), exercised within the context of a regional health care system, and shared responsibility and accountability to both the President and Chief Executive Officer of SolutionHealth and the SNHH Board of Trustees. As one of the key leaders within SolutionHealth, the next President/CEO will play a pivotal role in continuing to define and lead the future vision for the organization together with the SolutionHealth CEO and their counterpart at the Elliot Health System.


Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance the organization’s reputation and support local clinical initiatives while balancing system level objectives
  • Leverage clinical services and expertise, engaging medical staff and providers, anticipating and understanding needs
  • Play an active role in the political and regulatory process at the local and state level
  • Drive diversity and inclusion in the delivery of care as well as hiring practices and advancement
  • Help shape and develop clinical affiliations within SolutionHealth and with outside organizations such as Massachusetts General Hospital
  • Ensure long-term institutional vitality and financial viability

Your background demonstrates strong collaboration and operational skills and successful stewardship in improving growth and operational performance through innovative solutions and initiatives in a system environment.


Your Experience

  • Engaging and decisive leader, with a combination of strong operational skills, collaborative style, and a strategic mind set.
  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years healthcare senior leadership experience.
  • 5-7 years in senior management with accountability over multiple acute operational areas essential.
  • Proven ability in financial management, strategic planning, oversight and expansion of clinical services, clinical/quality management and community involvement.
  • Knowledge of the complex acute-care setting, including national trends in reimbursement affecting medical centers.
  • Track record of success working within a system environment, collaborating across area providers, clinical services and medical staff, to evaluate and evolve programs and services to align with community needs.
  • The ability to plan and implement large capital projects and to integrate new and efficient care models are helpful.
  • Clinical background as a physician, nurse, or other allied health professional with the requisite leadership experience listed above are encouraged to apply.

Education / Certification

  • Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or Public Administration.
